EVent door Cashier [Volunteer] (m/w/d) - Germany, Poland

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Event Door Cashier to manage guest entry and payments at the front door of our event. This role is the first point of contact for attendees and requires excellent customer service, accuracy, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests as they arrive and create a welcoming first impression

  • Collect entrance fees and process cash, card, or digital payments

  • Verify tickets, guest lists, or wristbands as required

  • Issue receipts, tickets, or wristbands

  • Answer basic event-related questions (schedule, seating, directions)

  • Manage entry flow and maintain order at the front door

  • Balance cash drawer and report totals at the end of the event

  • Follow event security and safety procedures

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Comfortable handling money and electronic payment systems

  • Organized, attentive, and detail-oriented

  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment

  • Reliable and punctual

Work Environment

  • Event-based, short-term or part-time role

  • May involve standing for long periods

  • Indoor or outdoor venue, depending on event
