  • This role is responsible for overseeing the creative and strategic aspects of an organization's marketing and design efforts. 

  • This role combines leadership of a creative team with the strategic direction of marketing campaigns, branding, and visual communications. 

  • This role ensures that design projects align with marketing goals and brand identity while also managing the execution of marketing initiatives that promote products, services, or the overall brand. 

  • The individual in this role plays a key part in elevating the brand’s presence and driving engagement through effective design and marketing strategies.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and manage a team of designers and marketers, ensuring effective collaboration between design, content, and marketing teams.

  • Creative Direction: Provide creative direction for all design-related projects, ensuring designs align with the overall brand strategy and vision.

  • Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that target the right audience, enhance brand awareness, and drive business growth.

  • Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, creation, and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, print, social media, etc.).

  • Brand Development: Maintain and strengthen the organization’s brand identity through consistent design elements and messaging.

  • Content Creation: Supervise the development of creative content, including graphics, videos, and written content, ensuring it aligns with marketing goals.

  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments (sales, product development, and PR) to ensure that marketing strategies are aligned with broader organizational goals.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies based on key performance indicators (KPIs) and results.

  • Budgeting and Resource Management: Manage the budget for design and marketing initiatives, ensuring cost-effective execution of strategies.

  • Market Research: Conduct research to understand market trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform design and marketing decisions.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all design and marketing efforts are aligned with the company's brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across all platforms and materials.

  • Campaign Effectiveness: Be accountable for the success of marketing campaigns, ensuring they meet objectives such as lead generation, brand awareness, and customer engagement.

  • Creative Output: Deliver high-quality, innovative, and effective design work that enhances the overall marketing and business objectives.

  • Team Performance: Ensure that the design and marketing team meets deadlines, quality standards, and performance goals.

  • Client or Stakeholder Satisfaction: Ensure client satisfaction with design deliverables and marketing outcomes.

  • Analytics and Insights: Ensure the team collects relevant data and translates it into actionable insights for future campaigns.
